Just cruising your site and decided to comment on this post. I didn't really notice women's month or women's day this year. I'll try to remember to make it a point to have a lady-specific post on my blog about it next year.

As a woman in a man's field (only 14% of CAD/Designers), it's sometimes nice to observe things like women's day and celebrate the fact that I could get an education and rise to where I have when so many other places and/or periods in time haven't given that opportunity equally to all.

Enjoying your blog so far! Keep up the good writing! :)

Even though now we seem to have officially all those things women have fighted for, in reality there are many areas where women are still only vaguely represented. Can you imagine that one of these areas is design? How many famous women designers we have heard of? Not because they are untalented - just in this still men's world it is hard to get recognition.
So - we still have to fight for our rights and defend them.
