Panties for Peace
I became aware of this through Judy Haley – The Best Use for Worn Out Panties. Apparently “generals ruling Myanmar are superstitious and they believe that touching panties or the traditional women’s outfit sarong will eliminate their powers.”. So in response to their brutal crackdown and violence against women, people are mailing in their underpants. Read more: Panties for Peace.

Karen – thanks very much! I’ve been working so hard to make this the best blog I can and I’m not always sure if I’m making much progress.
I got your attention with the panties for peace? You got mine with the blue footed boobies. I never tire of laughing at references to blue footed boobies!

Hi Trisha,
Thanks so much for linking to my post about that phrase that I’ve heard so many women use, either “I’ve been good today” or “I’ve been bad today”, all related to how and what they ate.
Yeah, that really bothers me, but you’ve already read my take on it in my post and know why.
Make it a great weekend for yourself and stay fit!
